Klopal develops AI solution for energy-efficient housing

Buildings use 20% of the energy consumed in Finland. Construction accounts for about 5% of energy use and housing for 15%. The main climate impact of housing is heating, with other impacts coming from water, electricity, ventilation and waste. In order for Finland to meet its national and international climate targets, emissions from housing must be reduced by optimising the energy consumption of buildings during their use.

Klopal is currently developing an AI-based technology solution for energy-efficient housing. The project is co-funded by the European Union.
